Qualifications
- Master's or doctoral degree, M.Ed. Degree or M.Sc. with PGDE certificate (or in view) in Mathematics Education, Curriculum and Instruction, or a related field.
- TRCN certificate will be an additional advantage
- Minimum of 3 years teaching experience in both Cambridge and Nigerian Curriculum and Previous experience in curriculum development, preferably in a leadership role within a mathematics department.
- Strong understanding of educational standards, assessment practices, and instructional strategies in mathematics education.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate colleagues.
- Proficiency in data analysis and using assessment data to inform instructional decision-making.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of current research and trends in mathematics education.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and work as part of a team.

Job Description
- We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Curriculum Leader to join our Mathematics Department. As the Curriculum Leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the mathematics curriculum and ensuring its alignment with educational standards and objectives.
- You will lead a team of passionate educators, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation in mathematics education.
Duties
- Develop and oversee the implementation of the mathematics curriculum, ensuring alignment with national and state standards, as well as the school's educational goals.
- Collaborate with teachers to design engaging and rigorous mathematics instructional materials, assessments, and resources.
- Provide leadership and support to mathematics teachers, including mentoring, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the mathematics curriculum and instructional practices through data analysis and feedback mechanisms.
- Stay updated on current trends, research, and best practices in mathematics education, integrating new methodologies and technologies into the curriculum as appropriate.
- Liaise with stakeholders, including parents, administrators, and external organizations, to communicate curriculum initiatives and gather feedback.
- Lead departmental meetings and facilitate collaboration among mathematics educators to promote a cohesive and progressive approach to teaching and learning.
